The Military Times is working on a survey for an article on the GI Bill. The more individuals they hear from, the clearer their picture will be your experience with the current GI Bill. See below:

The GI Bill is high on the legislative agenda in Congress this year, with a number of proposals in play to improve the venerable education benefits program.
Suggestions range from giving all service members the right to transfer unused benefits to family members, to vastly improving payments to fully cover the costs of a four-year college or university.
Air Force Times is working on a major report on the GI Bill, and we want to hear from you.
Have you been able to use your GI Bill benefits while on active duty? If so, what has your experience been?
Have you had problems with timely payments? How well have the payments covered your costs? What would you do to improve the GI Bill? If you haven't used your benefits, why not?
Have you used tuition assistance through your service to supplement your GI Bill? If so, how has that worked for you?
We're particularly interested in hearing from service members who are at a decision point in their military careers, and how the GI Bill may factor into the decision to stay in or get out.
